The gaiwan has been used to brew and serve tea for centuries and our delicate porcelain Junjin is a delightful continuation of this tradition.

In southern China high quality of porcelain gained a great reputation and the craftsmen's signatures became an exclusive trademark.  Our gaiwan is decorated with a beautiful pattern made up of these markings.

Use as a cup, or for making tea: simply place tea leaves in the cup, pour in water at the correct temperature and close the lid.  After the infusion time, tilt the lid at a slight angle to create a small slit at the edge and pour the tea.  The remaining tea leaves can be used for further infusions if desired, making the gaiwan ideal for white, green and oolong teas.

Made of porcelain, overall approx. dimensions 0.5 cm diameter x 9 cm tall, volume 100 ml
