RECURRING SUBSCRIPTIONS

A subscription automatically delivers your favourite products on a recurring schedule, with hassle-free payments and the freedom to pause or cancel anytime.

Renewal reminders are sent 3 days before billing, including a Manage Subscription link to the subscriptions portal allowing orders to be paused or cancelled prior to payment being processed.

Fulfillment: your order will be fulfilled on the next working day.

Availability and price increases: if an item is out of stock at the time of renewal, we will contact you by email to offer a different delivery date, or a full refund for those items. We aim to maintain price stability although if our prices change will give you at least 14 days notice of these changes by email so that you can cancel or amend your subscription.

Cancellation: recurring subscriptions, when offered, may be cancelled at any time using any of the following methods:

  • by logging onto your subscription portal and clicking CANCEL. The portal is available 24/7
  • by contacting our Customer Service team by telephone on +44 (0)1935 892481. Please note that customer services are open between 0900-1700 Monday to Friday except public holidays
  • by emailing info@theteahouseltd.com with clear instructions. Please note that customer services are open between 0900-1700 Monday to Friday except public holidays

Customer payment methods are revoked 24 hours after a subscription is cancelled and there are no other active subscriptions under the customer's name. If a cancellation was made by accident, the subscription may be reinstated within 24 hours and billing will resume if the subscription is reactivated within that window. After 24 hours, customers will need to re-enter their payment details to commence a new subscription.

Pausing your subscription: if you find you have too much tea and are not quite ready for your next delivery, your subscription can be paused through the subscription portal, or by sending an email to info@theteahouseltd.com, with full details of your requirements. Please note that customer services are open between 0900-1700 Monday to Friday except public holidays.

Managing the items in your subscription: if you wish to amend the items in your subscription please contact Customer Services by email at info@theteahouseltd.com, with full details of your new requirements. Please note that customer services are open between 0900-1700 Monday to Friday except public holidays.

Updating payment methods: payment methods can be updated within the subscription portal. Removing a card from Shop Pay does not cancel active subscriptions that were set up through Shop Pay. Whilst the card disappears from the Shop Pay wallet and from Shop Pay checkout, any subscription billing will continue unless the subscription is cancelled using the methods above.

Payment failure: if payment fails for a recurring subscription, we will attempt to take the payment from the nominated card again two days later and if the latter attempt fails we will contact you by email to advise you of this. Please note that your order will not be despatched until payment is processed. Your subscription date will then reset to the day the successful payment was taken.

Delivery, Returns and Refunds: please see our Delivery and Returns policy

Cooling off period: you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. This right does not apply to perishable or consumable goods (including teas and infusions) that have been opened.
