On a sloping hill in the southern part of Sikkim, sits the Temi Tea Garden, considered one of the best in India and in the world.  We are so excited to be offering the Temi Tea Garden's delicious second flush Sikkim TGFOP1.

A superb small batch tea with a clean refreshing silky mouthfeel, aromatic floral bouquet with soft tones of muscatel grape and honey and a good touch of spice in the finish.  Excellent shaped and colourful leaves with lots of tips producing a deep amber-copper coloured cup.

India

India is a major producer of Black tea, particularly in Assam, Darjeeling, and Nilgiri. Assam teas are bold and malty, often used in breakfast blends. Darjeeling produces light, floral teas with muscatel notes. Nilgiri offers aromatic teas with a refreshing Flavour. India also produces green, white, and oolong teas, with Darjeeling and Assam producing premium, speciality single estate teas.

India's tea regions are characterised by distinct climate conditions that impart unique flavours. Assam’s tea, grown in the lowlands, is full-bodied and robust. Darjeeling’s high-altitude teas are light and muscatel. Nilgiri’s teas have bright, citrusy flavours.
