Our wonderful tea from the Nilgiri Mountains the can be enjoyed as a fine drink at any time of day.  It is rich, round and balanced in character with bright malt, a hint of citrus, chestnut and honey. 

Grown high in the Blue Mountains of Southern India, brew lightly and take as an alternative to a Darjeeling or longer for a stronger flavour.

India

India is a major producer of Black tea, particularly in Assam, Darjeeling, and Nilgiri. Assam teas are bold and malty, often used in breakfast blends. Darjeeling produces light, floral teas with muscatel notes. Nilgiri offers aromatic teas with a refreshing Flavour. India also produces green, white, and oolong teas, with Darjeeling and Assam producing premium, speciality single estate teas.

India's tea regions are characterised by distinct climate conditions that impart unique flavours. Assam’s tea, grown in the lowlands, is full-bodied and robust. Darjeeling’s high-altitude teas are light and muscatel. Nilgiri’s teas have bright, citrusy flavours.
