The Tea House classic Lapsang Souchong.  Distinctly smoky with a hint of spice.

The large ripe 'Souchong' leaves of the tea plant are smoked over pinewood rich in resin creating a classic smokiness with just a hint of spice.  Cleansing and refreshing, it is perfect plain or with a  dash of milk.

Some claim that Lapsang Souchong was the first black tea produced in China.  According to legend, passing armies of the Qing era caused the annual leaf drying to be delayed, requiring producers to dry the leaves over pinewood fires.

Lapsang Souchong was said to be Winston Churchill's favourite brew!
