Lapsang Souchong Organic Tea
"Souchong" refers to the fourth and fifth leaves of the tea plant.
It is claimed by some that Lapsang Souchong was the first black tea produced in China. According to legend it came about during the Qing era when passing armies delayed the annual drying of the tea leaves, requiring producers to dry the leaves over pinewood fires.
Lapsang Souchong was said to be Winston Churchill's favourite brew!
