This is a beautifully designed traditional Japanese tea cup of great quality.  

The black underlying colour is overglazed with bubbles of dark silver.  Each of cup has a unique pattern so yours will not exactly match the design in the photo.

Authentically, the cup has no handle allowing it to be nestled in the hand. A couple of soft ridges ring the outside to make for an easy grip.

Sold singly, the cups have a capacity of 140ml and measure approx 8.5cm high x 6.5cm wide.

Not suitable for the dishwasher.
