Clay Dalian Teapot 250 ml

Traditionally used in gong fu tea ceremonies, tea is served in small cups over the course of many brief infusions.  Ideal teas for this are oolongs and pu'erhs and some loose leaf green and black teas benefit from this style of preparation.

The unglazed clay pot becomes seasoned with use, absorbing rich tea oils over time therefore, it is recommended to dedicate a Yixing pot to a particular type of tea for best flavour consistency.

Overall dimensions, including handle are approximately 14 long  x 9.5 wide x 8 cm high, with capacity of 250 ml.  Made in Yixing, China from rare 'zi sha' clay.
