Strong and spicy in the finish this magnificent Assam tea is grown on the picturesque Koomsong Tea Estate in the Doom Dooma river valley. 

The leaf is wiry, long and even with plenty of golden-brown tips producing a rich tasting copper coloured liquor.  A proper gentleman's cuppa with a refreshing spicy aftertaste, enhanced by a drop or two of milk.

India is a major producer of Black tea, particularly in Assam, Darjeeling, and Nilgiri. Assam teas are bold and malty, often used in breakfast blends. Darjeeling produces light, floral teas with muscatel notes. Nilgiri offers aromatic teas with a refreshing Flavour. India also produces green, white, and oolong teas, with Darjeeling and Assam producing premium, speciality single estate teas.

India's tea regions are characterised by distinct climate conditions that impart unique flavours. Assam’s tea, grown in the lowlands, is full-bodied and robust. Darjeeling’s high-altitude teas are light and muscatel. Nilgiri’s teas have bright, citrusy flavours.
