Region & Growing Info

Taiwan

Taiwan is renowned for its oolong teas, particularly those from high-altitude regions like Nantou and Lishan. Taiwanese oolongs are often floral, creamy, and slightly sweet with complex, dynamic flavours. Taiwan also produces green teas and small-batch speciality teas, emphasising traditional handcrafting and quality.

The unique terroir of Taiwan’s mountainous regions, combined with its subtropical climate, produces world renowned oolong teas. Taiwanese teas are known for their smooth flavours from light, floral and fruity nuances to complimentary low notes, smooth and savoury.
