Bold and richly flavoured with spicy tones and a refreshing aftertaste.  The long, wiry leaves develop a rich red infusion with little tannin and a warming aroma.

Delicious plain, especially for short repeated steepings, or brew longer for a heartier infusion and add milk to taste.

Grown near sea-level by the Ahinsa collective, supporting 186 small-scale organic farmers in south-western Sri Lanka.

Region & Growing Info

Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, produces a wide range of black teas prized for their brightness and versatility which can be blended or enjoyed on their own.

Each region’s unique terroir influences the flavour of its teas, from the robust, malty, tangy and slightly sweet teas from lower altitudes to the delicate, floral and aromatic higher-grown teas.

Ceylon tea is known for its brisk, refreshing taste.
