Our family run business has been shining the light on the amazing diversity of tea since 1982 when we opened our iconic flagship store in Covent Garden. Started by original Covent Garden pioneer Christina Smith, the business has been handed down to her niece and nephew and remains an independent family business to this day. The Tea House has been an iconic attraction in Covent Garden since it's opening in 1982 and has seen visitors come from around the world to experience the vast range of exciting and interesting blends that grace the shelves of our London Tea Shop. 

The Tea House has become synonymous with high quality loose leaf tea and that's what keeps our customers coming back. We know many of our customers personally and take great care in choosing blends that we know both new and existing customers will enjoy. Since opening, we’ve helped thousands of customers find their favourite teas and due to popular demand, we launched our website in 2013 and now ship tea to our customers all over the world!

As well as selection assistance, we provide information and brewing advice online and in our store to ensure that you get the best from your tea and accessory choices.
