A Message from The Tea House
It is with great sadness that I write to tell you that on the evening of Monday 6th September, our company suffered a devastating loss.
My sister, Katharine Singleton-Smith died in a road accident.
As you know she was the key person in our business and her hard work ethic, positivity and leadership will be greatly missed.
Katharine and I became directors when we purchased the majority of the business from our aunt Christina in 2010. I have not been actively involved in the business, but with the help of our fantastic team, will strive to nurture and grow the business as Katharine would have wished.
We ask for your understanding as we try to come to terms with what has happened, get our bearings and take on new responsibilities.
Alex Smith

Oh no. That’s very sad news. I didn’t know her but have been a fan and customer of tea house for a long time.
So sorry for your loss.
Devastating news. Katherine was a key part of tech company Sterling Software for many years and admired and loved by all.
Sending our sincere condolences to her family including her amazing husband Daniel whom I have lost touch with in recent years.
So very sorry for your loss. I’ve been a customer of the Tea House for many years and hope that you continue to build the business in her memory.
It is a terrible loss. I love the Tea House and wish Alex will continue with the same spirit. I send my sincere condolences and prayers.
